Internet & Computer Facilities

Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology for women is the proud owner of a Computer center provided with a RF connection and OFC of 6 Mbps. The entre campus is configured as Local Area Network. The Computer center is equipped with Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHz. Systems (338 no.), having TFT monitors and various state of the art softwares.

Library Resources

RKGITW library is fully automated. It has collection of about 18,000 books with 2000 titles and 514 CD- ROMs. The library subscribes 50 National, 15 International journals, so that the students are well informed about the new developments in the field of science and technology. Book bank facility is available to all the students in which six books are issued to the student for one semester. The library is air- conditioned.

Laboratories and Workshop

RKGITW has fully equipped laboratories with the latest state of the art equipments, apparatus and software in all the academic departments to impart in – depth knowledge to the students. Some of the main laboratories for 1st and 2nd year course are: Physics lab, Chemistry Lab, Computer lab, Language Lab and Electrical Engg. Lab, Mechanics Lab, Electronics Engg., Digital electronics Lab, PCB Lab, Logic Design, Data structure, Numerical Techniques and Electrical Measurement Lab.
The Workshop is fully equipped with all important shops and machines.

Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology for women has planned to take the utmost care for grooming the students to keep pace with the catalytic changes in the technical environment by organizing lecturers, seminars and workshops conducted by various National and International acclaimed business association and resource centers.

Training & Placement Cell

The group has strong track record of Training and Placement for overall progress of the students and the same will be continued in this Institute also.

Industrial Training & Consultancy Cell

The group has established Industrial training and Consultancy Cell to develop relations with industries of the region. This will encourage the faculty to render consultancy to the Industries and will also help us in placement of students. RKGITW will jointly work with this cell.

Department of Applied Sciences, Applied Mathematics & Humanities
The Department is headed by Prof. Rakesh. The department imparts excellent teaching in core subjects i.e. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Professional Communication, so that the students are motivated to understand engineering subjects.
Dr. Manorma Sharma Associate Professor of Chemistry & Dean Academics looks after all academic work efficiently.

Professional Communication
Professional communication skills are one of the most important qualities which companies seek in the students for employment. RKGITW trains students for accent neutralization, phonetics, verbal communication etc with the help of its Digital Languages Lab.

Department of Computer Science & Engineering
B.Tech Degree Course in Computer Science and engineering will impart quality education appropriate to the needs of industry. The department is designed with the purpose to emphasize curriculum augmentation in courses to ensure that students gain knowledge of the current trends in computing. The labs are particularly designed to implement the latest software and tools of the computer science and engineering to carry out leading edge development in this area.

Department of Information Technology
B.Tech Degree course in this field of specialization deals with Information Technology, including computer control technology, computer network, web – based application, designing computer systems, embedded systems and information technology.

Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering
B.Tech Degree Course in Electronics and Communication engineering lays strong emphasis on fundamentals and advanced techniques. The department is having expertise in broader areas in microprocessor based system design, digital electronics, microwave and fiber optic combination, computer aided design and simulation. The department has fully equipped laboratories.

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering
B.Tech. Degree Course in the EEE Department is designed with the purpose of preparing students for a career in Electrical & Electronics Engineering professions and for further studies in applied & theoretical research with emphasis on machine design, control and power electronics.

Other Facilities

TRANSPORT : The Institute will arrange for its own buses from the various parts of the Ghaziabad City, Anand Vihar, Noida, Modinagar and other places to provide proper transport to the students.

WATER AND ELECTRICITY : Water supply and electricity are available 24 hours a day. In case of power failure generator sets are available for constant electric supply.

MEDICAL FACILITIES : Medical aid will be made available to the student within the campus. To cater to an emergency RKGITW sustains relations with nearby hospitals.
